David Stockman on the “Second Wave”; The Dishonest “News” Media

David Stockman was a former White House budget director, but in more recent years he has been commenting on other, non-finance matters, such as this year’s “pandemic.” Yes, the “COVID” hysteria that I have already written enough here about, and I’m sick of it.

But we’ll let David Stockman give a more realistic assessment of what’s really been going on. The “second wave,” that some people have been saying is really still part of the first wave in some states, is being propagandized by extremely hysterical news media who are “just flat-out fabricating, censoring and falsifying the evidence with respect to the so-called second wave allegedly hitting the Sun Belt states,” according to Stockman.

The media drumbeat in recent days has especially focused on the alleged surge of new cases in Houston/Harris County, featuring the same old hoary prediction of overflowing hospitals and ICUs that turned out not to be true even in NYC – except for a few hospitals at the epicenter of the pandemic in the Bronx for a few peak weeks in March/April.

Yet just like in the case of the flooded NYC hospitals myth, the readily accessible facts with respect to Texas and Houston refute this weekend’s media blitz entirely.

And they also underscore the everlasting laziness and servility of the MSM. After all, if you start with a positive case rate per 100,000 in Houston that is currently only 17% of that recorded for the Bronx and a death rate that is only 3% of what occurred in the Bronx, why in the world would you even think that Houston is teetering on the edge of a medical calamity?

And, get this:

…it seems that Texas health officials started logging every single COVID-19-positive patient in the state as a COVID-19 hospitalization, even if the patients themselves were admitted seeking treatment for something other than the coronavirus.

As Lindsey Rosales, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Health Services, confirmed recently to an independent investigator:

“The number of hospitalized patients includes patients with a lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 even if the person is admitted to the hospital for a different reason,” Rosales said.

Moreover, nearly everyone admitted for some other medical condition – and presumably asymptomatic for Covid – gets tested for Covid-19 before other treatments or surgeries are permitted:

Texas Health Resources, one of the state’s largest hospital systems, says on its website that its “patients [are] tested before most procedures.” Elective surgeries and other medical procedures in Texas have gone up in recent weeks as the state has gradually re-opened following its lockdown.

In other words, the first wave of Lockdowns created a huge backlog of demand for elective surgeries and other discretionary treatments, which were banned by state authorities. But once those bans were lifted and people got in the hospital for deferred treatments, they were tested for Covid and became the statistical gruel for the so-called second wave.

But even then, the Texas hospital statistics over the last three months make mincemeat out of the national media’s weekend narrative that Texas hospitals will soon be overflowing into the hallways. To wit, here is the trend of unused acute care beds in the Texas hospital system:

  • 3/18: 8,155;
  • 4/1: 18,411;
  • 4/15: 21,489;
  • 4/29: 19,432;
  • 5/20: 16,035;
  • 5/27: 15,315;
  • 6/3: 15,219;
  • 6/10: 13,271;
  • 6/17: 14,993;
  • 6/25: 12,571

In short, Texas had gone from virtually no Covid cases or deaths on March 18 to 131,917 cases and 2,296 deaths by June 25, but it actually had 56% more empty hospital beds on the latter date!

He references some quotes from a Houston doctor and a hospital CEO with more realistic information and stating that their hospitals are not overwhelmed by people dying from COVID-19.

Stockman is suggesting that the mainstream “news” media hate Donald Trump so much, they have no problem with lying about the actual COVID situations in those states that were considered to be low-risk states.

Well, it has been obvious to me for  a while that many in the mainstream “news” media are extremely biased to the point of lying, as well as omitting and distorting information toward a particular political or social agenda, and the suggestion that they are doing so here because they just hate Trump may very well be the case.

But it may also be the case that, given the push to rush vaccines to the public quickly, the “news” media have been distorting, omitting and lying because the pharmaceutical companies are some of the media outlets’ important sponsors. In other words, greed and profits above truth.

On Trusting the Word of the “Authorities”

You would think that in today’s day and age more people would question the “wisdom” of establishment medicine and the pharmaceutical industry. But that does not seem to be the case. Many people don’t want to see the connection between pharmaceutical drugs or vaccines and illnesses or conditions. They don’t want to question the vaccines and the potential of vaccines causing some kind of neurological harm.

We don’t want to question our doctors for some reason. And when it comes to the autism phenomenon, the whole debate regarding the vaccines gets shut down by the vaccines’ defenders, criticizing the opponents as “anti-vaxxers,” and asserting that the vaccine-autism connection has been “debunked.” It’s “settled science,” and all that. Which it isn’t, “settled science.”

If you don’t look into it, as Sharyl Attkinson has done, and if you just blindly trust the medical establishment and its mainstream media spokespeople, then of course you’ll not want to hear the arguments by informed vaccine skeptics.

And regarding the vaccines, with all the adjuvants, mercury and aluminum and so on. Not only the vaccines themselves that are given to children whose brains are still in the important developmental stages, but the number of vaccines they are given, the combinations of different vaccines at the same time, and the big increase in the number of doses given to a child just in the first 5 or 6 years of life. 60 doses?

And that combined with what the medical establishment and the schools are doing to the kids now, misdiagnosing the kids with not just autism, but ADHD, ADD, even depression and anxiety, when in many cases the kids are just acting like normal kids!

So no wonder the young people now such as the ones of college age are showing a big increase in anxiety and depression, they are so easily “triggered” by the littlest thing, they need “safe spaces,” teddy bears and puppy dogs to comfort them. No wonder they are hysterical, thinking that the end is near, “the world will end in 12 years,” as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ignorantly warns.

And no wonder the college campuses are experiencing irrational protests against nothing that matters in the real world, invasions and hostage-takings of Dean’s offices, shouting down of ideological opponents, censorship and banning of speakers. What is really causing these kids to act this way, this hysterical and irrational way? (Although, it’s not just the students, the faculties of these places of “education” are also filled with irrationality.)

So, in my view, burying their heads in the sand is what the deniers of vaccine- and drug-damage do in their defense of so much propaganda by the medical establishment, government and their media stenographers.

So now as with most of the “pandemic” scares there is a race to develop and distribute a new coronavirus vaccine to the masses, regardless of whether its been tested or approved. This is all based on panic and hysteria, of course.

Jon Rappoport has some recent posts on the China “epidemic.” Here is his summary of the ongoing crisis. He appears to believe that it is extremely difficult to prove that the so-called coronoavirus outbreak was caused by a “bio-weapon” accident or intentional release, and suggests that “published genetic sequences could be con jobs, hustles, and giant errors.”

Rappoport refers to “contaminated water supplies; lack of basic sanitation; giant toxic agricultural farms; industrial poison-pollution; hunger; starvation; protein-calorie malnutrition; fertile farm land stolen from native people by corporations and governments; toxic medical drugs and vaccines; and now, in Wuhan and other Chinese cities, unprecedented mixtures of toxic air pollution, causing lung damage.” And he refers to virus “propaganda,” which would be no surprise to me.

Rappoport writes:

I raise one more question for your serious consideration. If highly toxic pollution in the air, in Chinese cities, is causing deep lung damage, and if the Chinese government is covering that up with a story about a virus—what is now happening to the millions of Chinese people locked down, with nowhere to go, trapped in those cities—breathing the air?

And in this more recent post, Rappoprt discusses how the numbers of people testing positive for the coronavirus can be greatly inflated, and that a more likely situation is people having pneumonia, especially given China’s very high pollution levels and the negative effects on the respiratory systems of many Chinese people.

But when it comes to the medical industry and its enmeshment with (and collusions with) governments, for some reason most people seem to take the word of the industry leaders and government leaders as well.

But from my own personal experiences, I have seen up close the dishonesty and corruption with doctors, as I had detailed in my post on my own medical ordeal from the late 1990s to the late 2000s. For instance, with that ulcerative colitis medical ordeal, one doctor told me to eat more “bran and whole wheat” to gain more weight, yet people with ulcerative colitis shouldn’t have such foods that are irritants to the colon. I learned the hard way. And another doctor telling me to increase the sulfasalazine anti-inflammatory drug, which, I later learned (the hard way), depletes our potassium levels as well as our folic acid. The decreased potassium level caused my blood pressure to go up, and when I then decreased the sulfasalazine the blood pressure went back down to normal. Those were just a few instances of bad advice from the “experts” with MDs.

And my now-late father, who had Alzheimer’s. He had been given Lipitor and then later on had two strokes in 2013, at which time his arterial blockage was discovered. More recently I learned that statin drugs have been shown to deplete our vitamin K2, as well as our CoQ10. Vitamin K2 is important for efficient calcium distribution. K2 makes sure that our calcium that we consume is distributed to our bones where we need it, and it prevents calcium maldistribution, making sure that our calcium does not get stored where we don’t want it — our arteries, heart, etc. If the calcium builds up in those areas, known as calcifications, then it can cause  a blockage, such as in the artery and that would prevent important nutrients from passing through the bloodstream to get to the brain effectively, which will cause cognitive problems such as with one’s memory.

So my father’s Alzheimer’s following his two strokes and his further decline for the next 6 years (that I believe was started by his statin drug Lipitor) was another learning experience in addition to my own experiences. (By the way, Joe Biden takes a statin drug. I just thought I’d throw that out there.)

Bottom line: I don’t trust the word of medical “authorities” (and certainly not government authorities!), and I check things out with my own research, on the Internet, and learn from my own experiences.

Vaccines and Junk Foods vs. Nutrition

There is another article on the ineffectiveness of vaccines, by Arjun Walia of the Collective Evolution website, this one regarding the whooping cough vaccine. Walia tells how a school in Houston, Texas had to close because of a whooping cough outbreak among students and staff. It has not been disclosed how many kids were affected, but supposedly 100% of the students had been vaccinated.

Some of the kids had to be hospitalized. So I ask, did the vaccine (or other vaccines they may have received, such as MMR) actually weaken their immune systems to make them vulnerable to contracting whooping cough (or measles, or the flu, etc.)? And there are other factors as well when it comes to kids’ (and adults) health, such as prescription drugs, over-the-counter meds and processed foods.

The article goes into detail on the several studies on what appears to be negative effects of these vaccines. In my opinion, there are a lot of superstitious people with a blind faith in vaccines. But a lot of kids are just plain malnourished, in my opinion. And I’m saying that because we’re constantly hearing about high obesity rates in kids — the junk foods and processed foods that parents give the kids affect their general health. I can see how a lot of the chemicals contained in the processed and junk foods can interfere with the digestion process, so the nutrients they do get in the nutritious foods they eat are not getting absorbed. That is what I have concluded, based on my own experience as I look back at my poor eating habits in my earlier years, and based on other articles I’ve read.

And I see the multiple vaccines they are being given (numbering like 60 vaccine doses by age 6!) are not only interfering with the kids’ brain development but other parts of their biological development as well. When I was a kid, we only had maybe a total of 4 or 5 vaccine shots. It is obscene now. I feel for the kids.

The bottom line is, as long as the kids are well nourished and don’t consume those awful foods with the chemicals then their immune systems will be in better shape to fight whatever germs, bacteria and viruses they are exposed to in their developing years. In fact, some people who are vaccine skeptics make the point that it wasn’t vaccines that caused a decline in diseases but progress in nutrition, sanitation, clean water, and hygiene. (See Mercola on that, and Learn the Risks.)

And I know some people are saying, “Sure, kids need nutritious food, but let them have some snacks and tasty treats as well,” and so on. But I am saying that the synthetic chemicals in those junk foods interfere with the digestion of important nutrients and thus the eater of the junk foods is less nourished than he or she would otherwise be. Now, do I have real scientific proof to back up that assertion? Right now, I’m not going to spend time on the Internet trying to find that. And I’ll bet it hasn’t been studied enough. But, I do have my own conclusions that I can make from my own experiences.

So these days not only is Big Pharma a problem but Big Agra as well.

But why do we rarely hear about the importance of nutrition from the medical community? instead the practitioners and schools are constantly pushing vaccines and pharmaceutical drugs. In addition to all that, many of the TV shows kids watch are sponsored by the makers of those terrible junk foods and processed foods. Sadly, the young parents these days are clueless, as many of the young parents don’t even know how to take better care of themselves, let alone children!

Vaccine Mandates vs. Freedom of Choice and Informed Consent

For some reason, the news media are covering the opioid addiction crisis, and government officials such as state attorneys general are suing pharmaceutical companies. But when it comes to the vaccine issue and the problem of vaccine injuries, the situation is in the reverse. People who are complaining about vaccine injuries are dismissed by the “authorities” and there is heavy criticism thrown against those who choose not to vaccinate. Why is this?

On the opioid issue, in my opinion the biggest problem is the damn doctors who are prescribing those pain killers to people who don’t really need them, and getting them addicted. We need to publicly name and shame those doctors. And that is what I think about that.

But the opioid issue is not why I’m writing this post. It’s the vaccine issue. I have written here about the vaccine issue and posted several links to articles on the issue. My main concern is the government making vaccines mandatory, whether for kids or for adults.

Sorry, in a free society people have a right to not have their bodies subjected to forcible intrusion of any kind. Right?

The problem is that, because of the power that the pharmaceutical industry has especially in its collusions with government bureaucracies, many people are more influenced by propaganda and fear-mongering than by rational discussions of the issues.

Vaccine skeptics are now labeled “anti-vaxxers,” and “dangerous,” although many of those people are really ex-vaxxers, they are mothers of vaccine-injured kids. For example, the heroic mothers who were engaged in protests in California to try to derail the bill that Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law to mandate vaccines and/or remove exemptions.

Another problem is, regarding how influenced people can be by mass media, many news media outlets have pharmaceutical companies as their important sponsors. So, news editors, producers and reporters don’t want to “rock the boat” when it comes to the vaccine issue. And also a lot of people don’t read, so they are not exposed to non-Establishment medical information, such as the rates of vaccine injuries, the fact that injuries are way under-reported, the connections between Big Pharma execs and FDA bureaucrats, and so on.

Regarding the California mandate issue, in her comments on the mothers who were demonstrating, chanting and disrupting legislative sessions, Bretigne Shaffer writes:

More fundamentally though, these laws represent a violation of some of our basic rights: The right to bodily autonomy for ourselves and for our children, and the right to associate freely with others (in this case, schools) without interference from the state. In essence, the State of California is holding hostage our children’s ability to attend school (public or private), unless we subject them to medical procedures we may not approve of.

So what do we do when we are faced with illegitimate laws that violate our rights?

Those mothers had the right idea when they shut down the California Senate last Monday: Disrupt the activities of those who would trample our rights, and make it impossible for them to do their jobs.

I thoroughly agree with this view of non-violent civil disobedience. When the people’s rights are being trampled by the rulers, they are right to have the courage to exercise their First Amendment right to protest, and even engage in civil disobedience if necessary.

Dr. Mercola also has a recent article on vaccine injuries and mandates, doctors withholding the information on the risks of vaccines, and the bureaucrats who are now taking over medical decisions in California. This vaccine fascism (call it what it is, quite frankly) is also going on in New York and other states, by the way.

Dr. Mercola points out some facts that we don’t or rarely hear in the mainstream news:

Another example is “Deaths Reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, United States, 1997-2013, published in 2015. In this report, it’s stated that of the 1,469 child death reports, 79.4% had received one or more vaccines on the same day they died.

The most common cause of death, based on autopsy records, was sudden infant death syndrome, accounting for 44% of cases, followed by asphyxia (6%), septicemia (4.9%) and pneumonia (4.6%). In adults, the vaccine associated with the greatest number of deaths was inactivated influenza vaccine, which featured in 51.4% of adult deaths reported to VAERS.

Despite these shocking findings, the report concludes that “No concerning pattern was noted among death reports submitted to VAERS during 1997-2013.” How can the fact that 79.4% of infant deaths occur on the same day that they’re vaccinated be a pattern of no concern?

Unfortunately, it seems that most people aren’t getting any of this kind of information. Information is necessary to make a decision, and that is why people have a right to consent or not consent to any kind of intrusion or medical treatment.

In a free society, nothing should be involuntary as ordered by the government! Don’t you think so?

In California, a government bureaucrat will be the final authority on medical exemptions for vaccines, not actual medical doctors. And this is very dangerous. It’s bad enough that we have doctors who are in bed with pharmaceutical companies and there may be a quid pro quo going on with the vaccines and other drugs being given out by doctors like candy. But when a bureaucrat is in charge, in my opinion it is reminding me of the awful things I have heard about in medicine in the Soviet Union.

And also, now that Gov. Newsom has signed the bill into law, I hope that medical freedom activists will monitor which bureaucrats have that actual authority, and whether those bureaucrats have any ties with pharmaceutical companies.

And finally, a great article by Dr. Meryl Nass, MD posted on Health Impact News, with a lot of information for those who want more information on the vaccine issue. Apparently, Canada is catching up with the U.S. and the crony welfare queens of Big Pharma  are getting rich based on mass ignorance, hysteria and propaganda.

I will just quote from the first several paragraphs here:

I am a veteran of the vaccine war in the US, and today I feel compelled to speak about what I saw in that war.

Legislators were forced to change their votes to revoke vaccine exemptions and rescind the historic right to consent to medical procedures.

The vaccine war is a dirty war, in which platitudes about protecting the most vulnerable are invoked by the same pharmaceutical companies that paid $2.7 billion in criminal penalties in the US between 2012 and 2015.

The vaccine industry generates enormous profits (estimated 10-40%), benefits from a government-guaranteed market, and receives almost total liability protection.

No other industry can rival these benefits.  And this industry’s rapacious desire to grow and guarantee its Canadian market is the reason we are here today.

Let me add context to this discussion by noting that in 2014, the NY Times said it cost $2200 to fully vaccinate one child.

At that price, it cost $163 billion dollars to fully vaccinate every US child.

May I apologize at the outset for using mostly US data?  I provide Canadian and New Brunswick information when available.

Pharma’s Pilgrimage to New Brunswick

Since March 2019, representatives of the three largest vaccine manufacturers in North America:  GSK, Merck and Sanofi, have made their way to New Brunswick to meet with ministers, public servants and lawmakers.

This is not coincidental. Pharmaceutical companies are colluding to expand on legislative victories gained in the US.

Using a media storm over measles, censorship of numerous vaccine-related websites, new support for mandates from professional organizations that have benefitted from industry largesse, and deals with Democratic party leaders, the right to religious and philosophic vaccine exemptions has been voted away by legislatures in California, New York and Maine.

In the recent case of New York, the Speaker of the NY Assembly was caught on videotape directing a committee member to change his vote in order for the mandate legislation to move forward.

This was not an idle pilgrimage to one of Canada’s smallest provinces. For Pharma it is the gateway to all of Canada.

The vaccine industry in 2019 is at a crossroads.

On the one hand, the vaccine business is booming.  Several vaccines have been newly licensed, a robust industry-FDA revolving door has been established, and the children of North America are receiving more vaccines than ever before.

Merck, for example, reported increased sales in the second quarter of 2019 for Gardasil HPV vaccine of 46% (to over $3 billion US annually) compared to last year, and increased sales of 58% for its MMRV (measles, mumps, rubella and varicella) vaccine.

These are Merck’s 3d and 4th biggest sellers.  This year’s US measles outbreak (about 1200 cases) and media-driven fears of contagion contributed to vaccine uptake.

On the other hand, the industry does not want to shoulder the considerable expense of developing, testing and licensing new vaccines–over 100 of which are in development–without a government guarantee that they will be purchased.

Vaccines are being developed for everything from acne to cancers.

Vaccine mandates guarantee a vaccine market, now and in the future. Mandates put in place today will enforce the uptake of vaccines on the currently required list, plus other vaccines yet to be added.

I very much recommend that article. It goes on to give a lot of important information that most people will find very useful. I say “most” because obviously the cronies of Big Pharma will not find it in their own interest. That is why there is so much censorship going on now in social media, Amazon deleting books with critical vaccine information (that Amazon ignorantly or dishonestly calls “misinformation”) and so on. I really hope that pattern reverses itself.

$160 Million in Vaccine Injury Compensation from HHS, Who Won’t Report on Vaccine Testing as Mandated by Law

In this article on Health Impact News, Brian Shilhavy tells us that the feds’ Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines met earlier this month, and so far in the year 2019 144 cases of vaccine injuries and deaths have been compensated totaling over $160 million so far, with another 191 cases yet to be determined. Because the pharmaceutical companies are protected by law from any lawsuits, the federal government is responsible for paying those compensations.

And as Shilhavy notes, very few media sources report on these vaccine related facts. The government-issued propaganda is all that most people hear about. The news media either intentionally or unwittingly act as censors on behalf of the pharmaceutical companies.

Meanwhile, there are states now who are trying feverishly to make vaccines mandatory, taking away the right of the people to choose whether or not to receive a vaccine.

But even if vaccines were not possibly harmful, don’t people have a right to decide for themselves whether or not to get a vaccine or any other medication? Not only should people who object to a vaccine exercise their right of refusal, on religious grounds or medical concerns, but for ANY reason. It’s your body, not the government’s. The government doesn’t own the people. And the community doesn’t own you either.

Shilhavy also points to his previous article on a lawsuit against HHS for not adhering to the legal mandate of assuring vaccine safety, especially given that the pharmaceutical companies are immune from responsibility for any injuries or deaths resulting from their vaccines.

The law includes: “The Secretary (HHS) shall: … make or assure improvements in, and otherwise use the authorities of the Secretary with respect to, the licensing, manufacturing, processing, testing, labeling, warning, use instructions, distribution, storage, administration, field surveillance, adverse reaction reporting, and recall of reactogenic lots or batches, of vaccines, and research on vaccines, in order to reduce the risks of adverse reactions to vaccines.”

And, “Within 2 years after December 22, 1987, and periodically thereafter, the Secretary shall prepare and transmit to the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Labor and Human Resources of the Senate a report describing the actions taken pursuant to subsection (a) during the preceding 2-year period.”

That law,  the 1986 Vaccine Injury Compensation Act, was signed into law by The Gipper.

Activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for the reports on vaccine testing and safety as required by that law. Not surprisingly, after threatening to sue the government, Kennedy’s organization finally received the response to his FOIA:The department’s searches for records did not locate any records responsive to your request. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Immediate Office of the Secretary (IOS) conducted a thorough search of its document tracking system and the Department also conducted a comprehensive review of all relevant indexes of HHS Secretarial correspondence records maintained at federal record centers that remain in the custody of HHS. These searches did not locate records responsive to your request, or indicate that records responsive to your request and in the custody of HHS are located at Federal Records Center.”

So HHS is admitting in that response that they have not been making reports on vaccine testing and safety as required by law.

In my opinion, the real reason why government bureaucrats have not been making those reports is because of the injuries and deaths caused by the untested vaccines. They’re really just covering up for the pharmaceutical executives and their huge (mostly taxpayer-funded) profits those pharmaceutical companies are receiving.

And by the way, it’s not just profits from the vaccines but from the pharmaceutical drugs as well, many of which are being paid for through Medicare Part D and other tax-funded government aid programs.

I think that many among the masses including the elites in Washington are afflicted with an unthinking worship of pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines as gods. It’s like a cult now, especially with the censorship of the truth and worse, government officials wanting to force the possibly harmful chemicals into people’s bodies against their will.

The State of Psychiatry These Days

There was a lengthy post by a psychiatrist, Scott Alexander, about this year’s meeting of the American Psychiatric Association (APA).

The post on the APA meeting included photos of the meeting premises and all the ads for psychiatric drugs by the damn pharmaceutical companies! I wanted to barf when I saw those photos. The ads are spread out on the escalators and staircases, benches as well as posters. Ads especially for anti-psychotic drugs. Egads, are there that many psychotic people around who really need that stuff?

Supposedly, 40 million Americans are taking psychiatric drugs. Oh, is that why Nancy Pelosi and Donald Trump are acting that way? Is it the drug itself or the side effects?

No, I’m just kidding. But is this why the college students are so frightened by everything? The “snowflakes”? There are anti-psychotics, anti-anxiety drugs, anti-depressants, as well as all the drugs for ADHD and so forth, Adderall and Ritalin.

Dr. Peter Breggin has spoken and written extensively about those issues, and about the dangers of psychiatric drugs, such as anti-depressants and anti-ADHD drugs.

The psychiatrist who wrote the post on the APA meeting, writes,

There’s a popular narrative that drug companies have stolen the soul of psychiatry. That they’ve reduced everything to chemical imbalances. The people who talk about this usually go on to argue that the true causes of mental illness are capitalism and racism. Have doctors forgotten that the real solution isn’t a pill, but structural change that challenges the systems of exploitation and domination that create suffering in the first place?

“The true causes of mental illness are capitalism and racism”? Capitalism causes mental illness? (Well, I wonder how much this doctor charges his patients?! Is that the capitalism he refers to?)

Now, during the 1980s I was in therapy, during and after college. And I also took several psychology courses in college. That was always something of interest to me. And I was in group therapy for several years as well. Don’t know if any of that therapy or group therapy helped, as far as anxiety and insecurity, etc. But I know from my own upbringing and from what I heard about from those fellow group therapy members, that our early family relationships and interactions had a big influence on things. But today’s psychiatrists and psychologists don’t seem to want to look at those aspects of the origins of anxiety or depression. It’s easier to give someone a drug, like a band-aid. Or repeat these more recent mantras of “racism” and “domination,” and … “capitalism”?

On the origins of anxiety, depression, or dysfunctional behaviors and interactions (I don’t like the phrase “mental illness,” because that’s more of a label or a stigma), I have found the works of Alice Miller, Heinz Kohut, D.W. Winnicott, Margaret Mahler, and Carl Whitaker enlightening and helpful.

Besides the over-dependence on the psychiatric drugs now by psychiatrists (many of whom are being paid by the pharmaceutical companies to promote that crap, by the way), I can see just how off-the-deep-end the whole industry has gone, as it too has been overly-infiltrated by the social justice warrior stuff.

In the post about the APA meeting, the writer describes how “woke” everyone is, and lists the various presentations about racism, gender bias, “Women’s Health In The US: Disruption And Exclusion In The Time Of Trump,” and “Addressing Microaggressions Toward Sexual And Gender Minorities: Caring For LGBTQ+ Patients And Providers,” among other “woke” things.

Now, please don’t get me started on all this stuff. A lot of this SJW stuff in recent years has been very dishonest and hypocritical. There are many calls for censorship now, and silencing of people who hadn’t intended any offense. Freedom of speech is a very important thing in a civilized society, in my opinion. And the SJW and “#MeToo” movements have encouraged the eroding of due process and presumption of innocence. So there’s an anti-civil liberties trend there.

I’m sure a lot of indoctrinated, “woke” people won’t agree with this, but there’s no such thing as “microaggression.” There are only aggression and non-aggression. Aggression is a physical phenomenon. If some people are so sensitive and thin-skinned with certain words or phrases then they obviously have some unresolved issues that probably go back to one’s childhood.

But these days, it seems that many people including psychiatrists and psychologists don’t want to look at those things. Perhaps they have unresolved issues from their own early childhoods?

Besides the police state and the national security-related erosion of civil liberties, psychiatry is another field in which coercion (i.e. aggression via threats or intimidation) is acceptable, regardless of how immoral it is.

I don’t know if the APA meeting included any talks on the use of Involuntary commitment and coercion, especially with child medical kidnapping. The Justina Pelletier Boston Children’s Hospital case, in which psychiatrists took control over an actual medical case of mitochondrial disease and claimed it was all psychosomatic and had the child involuntarily committed to a mental institution, was one of the most egregious cases I have read about. I certainly am glad the Pelletier family are in the process of suing the hospital. I also had my own negative experiences during the 1980s with psychotherapists (but nothing as extreme as involuntary commitments, though). So, I’m not big on psychiatry and the whole “mental health” industry.

And finally, the APA meeting actually included a CIA booth! Oh, come ON, are you serious? Are the CIA in need of psychiatric help? Are they there to recruit some hapless James Bond-wannabe MDs who might report on their patients expressing views the government disapproves of? I’m sure they already do this.

A Mandatory Vaccine Police State Based on Ignorance and Hysteria

There is now a mandatory vaccine police state in Rockland County, New York, according to Brian Shilhavy of Health Impact News. Because there are 153 cases of measles, officials have declared a “state of emergency,” like the hysterical Chicken Little, and they have banned all unvaccinated children from public places, including schools, malls and churches.

If a parent is in violation, that parent will be “referred into the district attorney,” says Rockland County Executive Ed Day.” My, the ignorance and hysteria here.

And in response to people who had specific concerns and questions about the MMR vaccine, Ed Day stated, according to the Health Impact News article,

If you are going to People Magazine, and Jenny McCarthy for your medical advice, then you need to start re-examining your life.

There’s risk in everything.

Could there have been a child or a few children who have been compromised by a vaccination? Of course there could be.

But there’s something called ‘The Greater Good’ here. Society has to come to an understanding at some point, that we have a responsibility to the greater good of the community.

Doh! That really makes me cringe.

And in another article by Shilhavy, there is evidence of MMR vaccine failure: a mumps outbreak among vaccinated students.

Apparently 100 students in Philadelphia have the mumps, even though most of the students have been vaccinated. And it’s the same MMR vaccine that is being mandated by the “Authorities” in New York! It seems that the MMR contains a “live” virus and that vaccinated people may be spreading the virus.

The article also notes that the FDA.gov’s MMR vaccine insert page was written by the vaccine’s manufacturer, Merck.

And also the article refers to a study done regarding the Disneyland measles outbreak, that concluded that “Of the 194 measles virus sequences obtained in the United States in 2015, 73 were identified as vaccine sequences.”

Also, whistleblowers who worked on developing vaccines at Merck are suing Merck because they had “witnessed firsthand the improper testing and data falsification in which Merck engaged to artificially inflate the (MMR) vaccine’s efficacy findings.” (What a shock.)

And in a related article on GreenMedInfo.com, J.B. Handley provides real-life data which show that the CDC vaccine schedule is causing harm.

Listen, based on what I have been reading over the years now, in most cases with most people, if you are nutritionally fit and well-nourished (if that’s not redundant), your immune system will be strong and it will fight off viruses, flu, measles, etc.

Or, if you nevertheless contract any particular disease like that, its effects will not be as severe as it could be if you were malnourished (which, unfortunately, I believe many people are, because of eating junk foods and processed food, taking prescription drugs or other drugs, drinking alcohol which depletes vitamins and nutrients, or smoking.)

Science Study Censorship

An article by Celeste McGovern on GreenMedInfo.com discusses a case of science study censorship. Apparently a scientific study had been written about diseased sheep, showing that they were made diseased by a vaccine. The sheep probably suffered from “Autoimmune/Inflammatory Syndrome Induced by Adjuvants” such as aluminum which are found in vaccines. One study confirmed that, but the published study was later withdrawn by its publisher, Elsevier, in response to an anonymous letter that was believed to have been written by a vaccine activist. The article mentions that Elsevier has a “Mercky past.”

My Ordeal With Doctors, Bad Advice, and Bad Prescription Drugs

UPDATE: Because this post is kind of a long read, I decided to add a summary of the important points at the top, and then continue with the actual post below the summary.

Here is the summary first:

  • It was an ordeal from 1999-2008. Diagnosis of ulcerative colitis (UC), or inflammatory bowel, with bleeding BMs.
  • Primary doctor advised that I eat whole wheat and bran to gain weight. (But people with UC shouldn’t eat whole wheat and bran which are irritants to the colon.)
  • Primary doctor had me have an upper GI series, in which the barium caused a return of pylorospasm (spastic pyloris) that caused further aggravation.
  • Prescription anti-inflammatory Asacol caused swelling in legs, feet and ankles, could hardly walk.
  • Switched to sulfasalazine. A colonoscopy doctor advised to increase sulfasalazine in 2001, and a different colonoscopy doctor advised in 2005 to increase it further. Based on an unusually high blood pressure reading at a physical, my research and conclusion were that the 2005-2006 increased sulfasalazine caused depletion of potassium which contributes to higher blood pressure. Reducing sulfasalazine resulted in lower, more normal blood pressure.
  • 2007-08 and onward I emphasized nutritional medicine and supplements. Were issues with fish oil/omega 3, and drinking Ensure for a long period. The biggest help since 2005 in my experience has been the acidophilus probiotic supplement.
  • 2008 colonoscopy the two GI doctors were “not sure” about “regenerative glands with neutrophils” and suggested another colonoscopy in just 6 months. My conclusion was that they were “FOS,” so I didn’t have that. Colonoscopies are very stressful! I had them in 2001, 2005, 2007, and 2008. There were polyps in 2001, but none in any of the subsequent colonoscopies. And I learned that “regenerative glands with neutrophils” meant that the colon tissue was healing after those initial years of inflammation.
  • In this post I also mention some of the foods I have, some of which have anti-inflammatory properties.

Now, here is the actual post on my ordeal that went on for years:

I wanted to write a chronicle of my 1999-2008 medical ordeal with the ulcerative colitis (UC), and with the doctors, the doctors’ bad advice and prescription drugs that either made things worse again or caused new problems.

So, here it is.

My ordeal began during the 1999-2000 period. It was better by April 2000, but there were relapses between 2001-2005. It was under control from 2005 until 2012 when there was an unexpected relapse. (If there is bleeding with BMs I call that a “relapse” of inflammation.)

The UC condition has been better since 2013. But it is still a sensitive condition. And I can’t eat a lot of foods/drinks, especially most vegetables, so I have to have various supplements such as magnesium, zinc, vitamin K and K2, etc., as I have mentioned before. I did go through a lot of “trial and error” with foods at times between 2000 and the later 2000s. But I never have foods now that could aggravate things (not knowingly, anyway). And I have foods that actually have anti-inflammatory properties.

To begin, in September and October 1999 there were about 10-15 times to the bathroom per day, and with bleeding. The bleeding was probably stimulating the extra BMs. The primary doctor during that period indicated that I had had a low blood count, low protein level, and my weight was in the range of 117-125. (I am approx. 6 feet.)

In September 1999 the proctologist doctor did a “flexible sigmoidoscopy,” diagnosed the UC and prescribed Rowasa enema. Things got better by mid-November and December of 1999.

However, the primary doctor was concerned about my continued low weight, and he suggested I add more calories to gain weight.

The primary doctor suggested I eat bran and whole wheat. At that time I was unaware that bran and whole wheat are irritants to the colon, even with people with normal digestive systems, so I did what was suggested. And by January 2000 the colitis was worse again.

But I didn’t see the relationship between my eating bran and whole wheat and the worsening UC relapse, and continued eating bran and whole wheat. I was also going back to eating normally perhaps a bit too soon. (Perhaps the doctor should have known not to suggest bran and whole wheat to a colitis sufferer?)

Another thing at that time in the primary doctor’s concern over my continued low weight was that he wanted me to have an upper GI series, because he thought there might have been something else going on. So I had a GI series, and I believe that the GI series barium reaggravated a “pylorospasm” (spastic pylorus) that I had during the mid-1980s that interfered with food digestion. The spastic pylorus continued to compound the relapsed colitis symptoms from January through March of 2000.

And so in January 2000 with the UC worse again, with multiple BMs per day and bleeding, this time I was having trouble retaining the Rowasa enema. And then the proctologist gave me Asacol, an oral tablet, which was supposed to be a timed release kind of thing, to prevent systemic absorption.

But apparently not. My side effects of that Asacol included swelling in the lower legs, feet and ankles. At one point, I could hardly walk. And there was also swelling in the scrotum. So the proctologist doctor switched me to sulfasalazine oral tablet (I think the timed release version) combined with Cortifoam, another rectal drug.

Regarding the lower legs/feet/ankle swelling, one of my parents suggested I try compression socks that go up to just below the knee. The swelling almost disappeared by the next day after putting on those socks. But did any doctor suggest the compression socks? Nope.

And so during this time of March 2000 I was also trying to be more conscientious with my eating habits, now that I was a little more informed about the relationship between foods and these digestive issues. My mother suggested Ensure to give me more calories and protein to help me to gain more weight. Of course, none of the doctors suggested that.

Also at that time I was taking Xanax, and I am way against those kinds of things. But I needed something to help me through this whole time that was going on for months now. It was extremely stressful. So with that anti-anxiety drug, the sulfasalazine and drinking Ensure, by April 2000 the condition and symptoms were a lot better (again), and the bleeding was gone.

I continued with the sulfasalazine as an ongoing daily medication. The weight got up to the mid-130s and stayed there maybe for a few years (now it’s about 140-142).

After an August 2001 colonoscopy, that colonoscopy doctor said there was still inflammation in the colon/rectum, so he advised that I go from 1 sulfasalazine tablet 4 times per day to 2 tablets 4 times per day. So I did that. He didn’t ask about or mention anything about foods or suggest any changes in my diet.

There had been bleeding-BM relapses that lasted about 4-5 months each, in 2001, 2002, 2003, and December 2004-April 2005.

In 2004 and 2005 I learned more about “natural anti-inflammatories.” I began taking fish oil softgels around April of 2005 because I learned that they are high in omega 3, which has anti-inflammatory properties. And in late 2005 I began taking acidophilus probiotic pills.

However, just to digress a bit, by about 10 years later I learned that it may not be a good idea to take fish oil or omega 3 supplements in the long term, like more than a year. (For example, see this article.) So I gradually reduced and then eliminated the fish oil softgels and tried to just eat fish, which was recommended. However, the fish was a problem with my sensitive digestive condition. I tried different kinds of fish, and cooking it or fish in a can such as sardines. Alas, it appears that fish causes my digestive system trouble, for some reason.

So as a natural omega 3 alternative to fish, I’ve been getting the cage-free eggs that all say a minimum of 70 mg of omega 3 per egg. Or brands that say it has over 100 mg per egg.

As far as keeping inflammation low or preventing it in the lower digestive area, the acidophilus is most important, as far as I’m concerned. But as I have written quite a bit now on my blog, having foods that have anti-inflammatory properties (such as extra virgin olive oil) is helpful, and not having any kinds of foods that could be pro-inflammatory is helpful (or necessary, in my case). No junk food or processed foods, no insoluble fiber, nuts, etc.

At the August 2005 colonoscopy, the new colonoscopy doctor told me to increase from 2 to 3 sulfasalazine tablets 4 times per day. He said nothing about foods or nutritional supplements at that time. So I increased the sulfasalazine and continued that over the next year.

However, later in 2006 at my annual physical examination, the new primary doctor said my blood pressure was unusually high. It had been on the low side for decades, according to previous doctors. So after some investigation on the Internet, I learned that one possible side effect of sulfasalazine is that it could affect your potassium level. And a low potassium level can cause or contribute to high blood pressure.

So I reduced the sulfasalazine, and the blood pressure went back down to more normal levels. (But now when I check that on the Internet 12 years later, there are no articles mentioning the relationship between sulfasalazine and potassium, as I saw then. Why is this?)

And by the way, regarding sulfasalazine, besides its possibly contributing to reducing potassium level, it also could cause a depletion of folic acid. And folic acid is something that’s very important for colon health! So two different colonoscopy doctors both told me to increase sulfasalazine but did not tell me to make sure I supplement with folic acid! They MUST know about sulfasalazine’s effect on folic acid! So that one bothers me, too. How could they not know that?

My 2007 colonoscopy, by the way, showed a reduction in inflammation, despite my discontinuing anti-inflammatory prescription drugs earlier that year and concentrating on nutritional supplements.

I “discovered” the acidophilus/probiotic supplement in late 2005, and began taking those at that time. I didn’t have any relapses with bleeding between about April 2005 and November 2012, and I attribute that in large part to taking the acidophilus supplement.

In November-December 2012 there was a relapse with bleeding for the first time in 7 years. By early 2013 I realized that the acidophilus I was taking wasn’t as good as it was in the first several years of taking it. The reviews of that particular product on Amazon seemed to confirm my suspicion. So in 2013 I switched to a different acidophilus product. And things have been much better since then.

At my 2007 colonoscopy I told the doctor (not the earlier GI doctor from 1999-2001 but the new one from 2005) about the acidophilus and how that seemed to make things a lot better since two years prior to that. And he said that he was a “big fan” of acidophilus. So I was wondering why, in the previous colonoscopy, he didn’t tell me about the acidophilus/probiotic supplements.

And why didn’t any of my primary doctors tell me during those years?

That colonoscopy doctor did, however, try to push the prescription anti-inflammatory Asacol on me at that time. That was the drug I had in early 2000 that caused swelling in the legs, etc.

Besides trying to push Asacol on me, in the examination room he had coffee mugs with the name “Asacol” on them, and his clipboard he was using had “Asacol” on the top! So this was quite a learning experience. And he was the head of endoscopy/colonoscopy at a major metropolitan hospital at that time!

And then after the 2008 colonoscopy, that same colonoscopy doctor advised that I see another specialist because of some issue with that colonoscopy that the doctor didn’t explain. So I saw that so-called specialist who said that that particular colonoscopy biopsy showed “markedly regenerative glands with neutrophils,” but “indefinite for dysplasia.” The specialist wanted me to go have another colonoscopy in just 6 months!

I asked that “specialist” GI doctor to further clarify the issue. And he said something along the lines that “regenerative glands with neutrophils” meant either that the colon tissue had been “regenerating” (a good thing), or that it was a sign that there were cells developing that could show “dysplasia” (or possibly cancer cells).

Well, my own conclusion was that “regenerative glands with neutrophils” meant that the colon was really healing after those earlier years of inflammation, bleeding, etc., and that it was not a sign of developing cancer.

And so given how stressful those colonoscopies were for me (including the day-before prep!) I decided to take the chance and not go in for that next requested colonoscopy. I concluded at that time that those doctors were just full of it and that they wanted to make the hospital more money, quite frankly. (And see this.)

By the way, I have not had another colonoscopy since 2008, thank God. And, incidentally, while the 2001 colonoscopy had “old, dried out polyps,” according to that first colonoscopy doctor, my 2005, 2007, and 2008 colonoscopies all showed NO polyps. (Humph! to them for putting me through all this crap, for years, and for no good reason!)

Now, back to my own nutritional treatments. So in the 2007-08 time I continued with acidophilus, fish oil softgels, quercetin (an antioxidant  bioflavonoid), vitamin D, guar gum for soluble fiber, and folic acid, mainly.

As I wrote on my blog, regarding drinking Ensure, it’s probably not a good idea to have that in the long term either. Ensure is high in sugar and has corn oil and corn maltodextrin, as well as a lot of synthetic “vitamin” and mineral ingredients. I started that around March of 2000. In September 2013 I began to gradually decrease that from four 8-oz bottles per day to 3, and then 2, and 1, and my last bottle of Ensure was in June of 2016.

I gradually decreased the fish oil from about early 2014 and stopped that by around March of 2016.

And I’m not saying that my colon is all better, not at all. It’s still a very sensitive condition, and I can’t eat a lot of things, as I mentioned at the top.

Starting in September 2013 I added hard-boiled eggs to my daily diet. In 2014 I added extra-virgin olive oil and carrot juice (100% juice, no fiber). And (I think by 2015 or ’16) I added concord grape juice. And I also have apple juice. It’s 2 servings per day of each of those three juices, which I don’t believe should be a problem (as far as carbohydrates or sugars are concerned, but I could be wrong).

And I also switched from margarine to organic butter. Butter and whole milk contain milk fat, which I had read has anti-inflammatory properties, especially for the digestive system.

An additional thing that I have is whey protein. I know that it’s not a good idea to have too much protein per day, not more than 200 grams, I think. But I don’t have that much. The main reason for the whey protein is that it contains natural amino acids and L-glutamine, which have been shown to repair damaged colon tissue (e.g. damaged from inflammation). And I refuse to take any of those prescription anti-inflammatories, unless I really, really have to.

But I had to learn about all those nutritional factors, for colon support and to help prevent any further ulcerative colitis, from the Internet, not from doctors. And I do extensive research on everything, such as checking multiple sources.

So I didn’t learn one thing about nutrition from any “doctor.” It was quite the opposite, in my view. Doctors were mostly pushing their damn prescription drugs, as well as giving harmful advice, or withholding information.

And that’s been my general experience, especially with this ordeal since 1999. I really believe that my lower digestive condition right now wouldn’t be this sensitive, and that I probably would still be able to have more foods including some vegetables had the first doctor in 1999 not given me bad advice and had I been informed much earlier of the effects of diet, and had I known about the probiotic supplements earlier. I don’t believe that I would have had those relapses (that may have had a cumulative weakening effect on the colon) from 2001-2005 and in 2012.

Challenging the Germ Theory of Disease Used to Justify Medical Tyranny

I’m not a medical expert, but I liked this thought-provoking article by Paul Fassa at Health Impact News on “German New Medicine” challenging the germ theory of disease that has been used to justify medical tyranny. The article links to a previous article on the alleged measles virus, and it addresses the theory of HIV being the cause of AIDS. Very controversial stuff. And it is really for those who are open-minded and don’t have too much of an emotional reaction to articles that question the establishment medicine status quo.

The Mysticism of Big Pharma Drugs

I was doing some googling on issues related to my ulcerative colitis condition, and found some information on the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. They have a page devoted to their “sponsors,” which include mainly pharmaceutical companies. Nothing, no companies related to nutrition and nutrition therapies. Not one. So, it’s very disappointing, but not surprising. I don’t want to link to it. All you have to do is google “Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation sponsors.”

Very soon I will finally be completing my post on my experiences with doctors, their bad advice and bad prescription drugs and side effects, regarding my ulcerative colitis inflammatory condition, from the 1999-2008 period, and my journey from all that crap to nutritional medicine. But the post is not finished yet.

The truth is, it’s all about nutrition and avoiding foods (and drugs) that can cause inflammation or other issues. But the pharmaceutical companies (and the doctors tied to them, which is to say, most doctors) have invested a lot of time and money into continuing the mysticism of drugs as the way to go for “cures.” Millions of medical patients, their doctors, and the workers of the drug companies have been indoctrinated and brainwashed to have faith in their god, the PILLS!

Big Pharma-Government Complex Vaccine Mandates

I don’t want to over-emphasize the vaccine stuff, but there really have been a lot of developments in that category. Another article on Natural Blaze on vaccines tells about the agenda of the government-pharma complex, in which states are escalating their push to mandate vaccines. In that article, we hear about states removing “non-medical” waivers from vaccine mandates.

But this whole issue has to with freedom, as the article points out. In freedom, everyone has the right to opt out of anything that involves being injected into you or otherwise being made to have to ingest something you don’t want.

One point that some people try to make is the “herd immunity” mentality. It makes no sense. Each of us is an individual. And each individual has one’s own level of adequate nutrition and better immune system, having nothing to do with others.

But there is this “herd” mentality, in which the indoctrinated ones try to say that if one kid in the class isn’t vaccinated, then that compromises the safety of the other kids. But wait a minute. If the other kids have been vaccinated, then there is no problem. Right? They’ve been vaccinated. (Unless you are acknowledging that those vaccinations are unreliable. Hmmm.)

The article then points out that some vaccines have killed or injured people. Big Pharma wants to suppress those facts. I think that is one industry that I have seen in which there is such a pathological greed. And their enmeshment with the establishment doctors is sick.
